Sights and History
The story tells!!!
Let's touch the history of the Balkans
Gathered in his soul, Blakan has something to tell us. Here history and nature have taken care of our emotions.

The House of Humor and Satire, Gabrovo
The House of Humor and Satire was established on April 1, 1972 and is dedicated entirely to fun and laughter. Is it a coincidence or is the museum really scheduled to open on this day. Of great interest to young children are the sculptures of funny artistic characters such as Don Quixote and his friend Sancho Panza, as well as Sly Peter, so famous for his clear mind and cunning. In addition to a large part of the Bulgarian humorous and satirical heritage and traditions, the House of Humor and Satire gathers and preserves a lot of foreign cultures. The place has a huge variety of fun cartoons, photos and paintings that have been acquired over many years and represent the culture of more than 170 countries around the world. They are related to the field of literature, photography, sculpture, etc.

The presence of the 16 examples of Balkan architecture in the museum is remarkable. Visiting Etara, tourists have the opportunity to witness the only collection in Bulgaria of folk water equipment. All sites are located on 7 hectares of land and from there passes a small river, over which a bridge was built, so that you can safely cross from one side to the other.
